• RSVP: This is commonly overlooked with all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. It is important to give the host accurate numbers so that he or she can plan accordingly. For extra sugar, include the names of each guest accompanying you.
• Hostess Gift: Never show up empty handed. Bring a small, tasteful gift for your host.
• Dress Appropriately: Know your host and follow suit.
• Do Your Research: Find out who the guests are and their interests. Have a few appropriate topics to discuss in the event of a conversational lull.
• Children: Don't assume that the children are invited.
