A Run In With Static Cling: Diffusing the Energy

Static cling is a common problem and unfortunately today I tried to aid a friend and only wreaked havoc. Static cling is the result of protons and electrons that are off balance. A charge, static electricity, is created and must be diffused. Here are a few ways to combat the static.

Wire Hanger: Rub a wire hanger back and forth on the clothing to diffuse the stagnant energy.

Hand Lotion: Rub small amounts of hand lotion on hands and then rub hands on your nylons.

Dryer Sheet: Dampen a dryer sheet and rub on your nylons.
