SF Fashion Week begins on Monday and I am so excited I just can't hide it. I got a
sneak peak at Alley's new collection today and wish them well at Melange Runway. Tomorrow eighteen different designers including San Francisco's
Alley Collection,
Sherise Eways,
Dahae Elyse Kim,
Rock Chiq,
Kajan Padraig,
Debbie Nghiem and
Lorian Lindsay take stage at Melange. The show is divided into three scenes and has been "coined the Cirque du Soleil of Fashion." Melange celebrates diversity by melding together fashion and the arts.
"Mélange aims to empower our community members to participate in the changing perception of health and beauty by embracing models of all ethnicities, shapes and sizes, as well as designers from diverse backgrounds."

Unlike the show-n-tell show this past June, this runway is professionally produced and celebrates true artists while uniting talent from across the country under one roof. There will be Korean drumming, Bhangra and Hip Hop throughout the presentation and much more. The show is sponsored by numerous companies including Nicole Miller, Sephora, Gordon Biersch and popchips. Tickets range from $150 to $260 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Tickets are selling fast!
