I hope that you all had an amazing Labor Day; I know we did! B made his famous ribs (yes, we can't get enough of them) and paired it with something other than wine. We made Arnold Palmers made with freshly squeezed lemon juice. They were out of this world and for those of you know me, I am not a big sweet drink girl but this was AMAZING! I had to share the recipe. Enjoy! -Cyn
10 cups of water (Set two cups aside)
1/3 cup Iced Tea powder (Recommended Lipton)
2 c. ultra fine sugar
10 juicy lemons
Dissolve the iced tea powder in 1 c. hot water. Set aside. On the stove top over high heat make the simple syrup. Bring 2 c. of water to a boil and add 2 c. ultra fine sugar and stir continuously until dissolved. Turn of heat. Allow to rest. Juice approximately 10 lemons or enough for 12 oz. of juice. Add 7 c. of water to your pitcher of choice blend in the 1 c. of iced tea mixture. Stir. Add 12 oz. of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 16 oz. simple syrup. Stir. Refrigerate and serve over ice. Enjoy!
