Adding Color To Your Wardrobe

Adding color to your wardrobe can be challenging. We tend to get in a rut and have most of our palettes within threes shades of each other as in black, white and gray. I call this the safe zone. We tend to stick with only a few safe colors and typically don't stray. Here are a few tips for adding color to your wardrobe:

1) Accessorize with color: whether you add a flower to your hair or pin it to your shirt, it will add depth. Necklaces, bracelets, scarves and belts are an option too.

2) Handbags and shoes of course! If you have a monochromatic look, add some color with a bright shoe or handbag.

3) Buy separates in a solid color. For example, layer with a colored tee, cardigan or skirt.
Apply these tips and you can double your current wardrobe!
