Is your skin looking dull and dry? Are you beginning to break out with the weather changes? Winter weather can take a toll on your skin. Get ready for a new spring glow with these simple changes to your regimen.
Alternate Moisturizers
Our skin gets drier in the winter so we tend to need a heavier moisturizer. When transitioning into spring, continue to use your heavier moisturizer at night and find a lighter moisturizer for the day. Make sure to seek out a day moisturizer with a minimum of SPF 15 in it. I like to use ALBA Sea Moss Moisturizer.
Use SPF
SUGAR NOTE***Please remember that applying a moisturizer with SPF15 and a make-up powder with SPF 15 does not equal a coverage of 30. It is a SPF 15.
Tinted Moisturizer
I also recommend switching to a tinted moisturizer. My new fave? Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer. It is oil free and has SPF 15. It has a light to medium coverage and I found that I did not need additional make-up. It was the perfect fit for a winter to spring transition giving you a dewy soft glow eliminating dull matte winter skin.
Drink More Water
It is always helpful to drink more water to improve your skin. You will notice it immediately under your eyes and in your cheeks. How do you think those models look so good?
